Week 7 AIP Elimination Phase Meal Plan

This is the start of my extra weeks on the AIP elimination phase. This week I made life easy. The only new recipe is a braised red cabbage. All the other recipes are well on my repertoire. Most recipes for braised red cabbage can be easily made AIP compliant. Simply leave out the non-compliant ingredients and substitute an AIP compliant cooking oil. Duck and goose fat work well and don’t give that subtle coconut flavour you get with coconut oil.

This week I ate (included within the shopping list):

Smoothies made from: avocado, berries, kale and carrots.

Breakfast hash from: ½ red cabbage, 2 carrots, 2 onions, 6 handfuls kale.

Sunday roast was served with AIP spuds, 1 red onion, ½ red cabbage.

Friday Smoothie Bacon and mushroom carbonara Chicken wraps
Saturday Homemade Burgers with vegetable hash and sauerkraut Carrot and coriander soup Prawn curry with cauliflower rice
Sunday Sweet potato toast with bacon and avocado Prawn curry with cauliflower rice Lamb shanks with red cabbage and ‘mash’
